Our Coaches

Each student will be assigned an Oxford PhD researcher as their coach.

Our coaches’ academic expertise and enthusiasm inspire students to follow their intellectual passions and maximise their critical thinking potential. We provide:

Our Method

We won’t bore you with dull textbooks, worksheets, or arbitrary box-ticking.  Instead, we opt for the 1:1 Oxford tutorial style of discussions grounded in:

• Accessible explanations of complex ideas.

• Foundational readings. 

• Engaging primary sources and case studies (historical documents, news articles, research papers, and other materials).

• Comprehensive feedback discussions based on students’ written work.

Coach Selection

Our coaches undergo a rigorous selection process and all possess:

• Outstanding  academic records in their undergraduate and postgraduate studies. 

• Subject-specific expertise at Master’s or PhD level, often including professional experience in their fields.

• Teaching experience, often to Oxbridge undergraduate students.
